Researcher (RU) at the University of Milan, PhD in Cellular Biology (Cellular and Molecular Biology). My research covers topics including:
a) Mutability phenomena in the connective tissue of invertebrates (echinoderms and poriferans);
b) Biomimetic approaches applied to exploit resources derived from marine invertebrates;
c) Regenerative phenomena and autotomy in echinoderms;
d) The effect of exposure to environmental contaminants and microplastics on reproductive biology and regenerative capabilities in echinoderms.
Author of approximately 70 articles published in international scientific journals (ISI/Scopus) and 2 book chapters.
